Two Announcements! And a Verse to Encourage…

Hi, friends!

It’s been a while since I hopped on here, and I wanted to share a couple things with you…

First, if you’re signed up for Fall Book Clubs, you’ll want to know that next Thursday (Oct. 21st), we’ll be meeting over Zoom at 6pm (MDT) to discuss Sarah Mae’s The Complicated Heart. This is a heartrending work on forgiveness; trust me, you don’t want to miss it. I’ll be sending out a reminder with the zoom link on Wednesday… hope to see you there!

Secondly, I am so excited to let you know that The Inheritance is available for purchase through Barnes and Noble! I just found this out myself – it is so exciting to see this story popping up in different places. If you are not an online shopper, you can also ask your local Barnes and Noble store, and they will order it for you 🙂 Of course it is also still available on Amazon – in fact you can read it for FREE on Kindle Unlimited!

This story is so needed for these times we are living in ~ not only because it’s a tale of small-town love and friendship that you can get lost in (though it is that) ~ but also because we are living in a time where our families, our marriages, and our faith are under attack.

I’m so grateful for fellow author Rachel McMillan (The London Restoration and The Mozart Code) who said in her review, “The Inheritance isn’t merely a story rather a rallying cry to fight for love, encouragement and hope.” Thank you, Rachel, for getting the heart behind this story!

Lastly, I’d like to leave you with a piece of the most important words we can read: God’s words. I hope you’re getting into His Word daily; I know it can be a struggle for me, but it’s worth it! This week He encouraged me with this passage from Romans, and now it’s my prayer for you, dear reader:

“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him,

so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.”

~Romans 15:13

Take some time to rest and Sabbath with Him this weekend, friends!

Love in Christ,

Laura
